I’m pleased to share an important update regarding the leadership transition within our organization. After an extensive hiring process, the Board of Directors is delighted to announce the appointment of Brian Zahnle as the new General Manager of Two Rivers Cooperative. Brian will continue his existing responsibilities and officially assume the General Manager role on February 15, 2024, succeeding our current General Manager, Tracy Gathman, who will retire on February 29, 2024.
The hiring process was a meticulous undertaking, indicative of the significance we place on ensuring Two Rivers Cooperative’s continued success and growth. Recognizing the gravity of this decision, the Board retained the services of a reputable search firm to identify and evaluate qualified candidates. We comprehensively reviewed potential candidates and conducted in-depth interviews with several highly qualified individuals.
Throughout this process, the Board approached its responsibility with the utmost seriousness, prioritizing the long-term prosperity of Two Rivers Cooperative. After careful consideration, we are confident that Brian Zahnle possesses the experience, skills, and vision necessary to lead our cooperative into the future.
Brian Zahnle is already an integral part of our organization, and his dedication and contributions have not gone unnoticed. He will continue in his current role until February 15, 2024, at which point he will transition to the position of General Manager. This overlap with Tracy Gathman will facilitate a smooth transfer of responsibilities and allow Brian to familiarize himself with the intricacies of his new role.
