- Markets finished lower today with selling prevalent in the late morning hours
- Beans weaker following export cancellations announced this morning
- USDA announced the cancellation of 200 kmt of old-crop US beans to China.
- USDA also announced the sale of 72 kmt of new-crop US corn to Mexico.
- USDA announced the sale of 67 kmt HRW, 37k white and 22 kmt of HRS wheat to unknown.
- Wheat Quality Tour pegged US HRS @ 49.9 bpa vs 48.6 LY and 5yr average of 45.2 bpa.
- The commitment of traders report showed managed money selling 17,417 contracts
- Managed funds were sellers of 11,679 contracts of beans and 12,998 contracts of wheat
- Funds were not as aggressive of sellers as the trade had anticipated
- New month next week will bring new positions and likely show traders’ mentality on direction
- Crude oil continues to grind lower, down another 2% as stocks continue to build.
- Iran announces they will not allow US or CA inspectors to inspect nuclear sites.
